Spring Lawn Care

March – May

Our Spring Lawn Care Service

As the warmer weather approaches, new growth begins. As well as rejuvenated grass, weeds can become a problem.

We tackle the weed problem with specially formulated herbicides and use fertilisers that help promote the healthy growth of your grass.

The end result is the platform for a beautiful lawn to be enjoyed throughout the longer evenings in the months ahead.

What we do:

Weed Removal

With new growth in the spring, weeds can become a problem. We use a herbicide that targets the weeds but leaves your lawn unharmed.

Feed & Treatment

Using a fertisliser specifically designed to help your lawn as temperatures warm up, your grass is encouraged to grow and take on a vivid colour.

Worn Areas & Patches

By seeding worn patches early, your lawn will be ready to enjoy during the long evenings of the summer months ahead.

Treating Moss

Moss becomes a problem in poorly drained lawns and damp conditions. Spring is the perfect time to target moss for the warmer months ahead.

Early Summer Lawn Care

May – July

Our Early Summer Lawn Care Service

Now that temperatures are rising we begin to focus on strengthening the grass with a different formula of fertiliser as well as dealing with any new weed issues that may arise.

With a thicker, stronger and healthier lawn, you can prepare for the barbeque and lawn party season, as well as children constantly playing on the grass.

What we do:

Nutrient Feed

The herbicides used consist of two main elements:

Nitrogen – This helps develop the strength and colour of your grass. It is released slowly to prevent scorching of the lawn and deliver the nutrients over a period of time.
Potassium, Magnesium & Calcium support the Nitrogen in doing its job in sustaining your lawn.

Weed Control

With so much pollination during this period, your lawn is under the constant threat of being invaded by new weeds looking to take root.

We add an additional layer of protection to prevent this process happening so that your lawn gets to peak condition for the warm summer months.

Late Summer Lawn Care

July – September

Our Late Summer Lawn Care

This is a similar service to our early summer lawn care.

The fertilisers, herbisides and pesticides require topping up as they are absorbed into the soil.

Additionally, at this time of year, it is important that your lawn receives plenty of water.

Weeds are less of a problem at this time of year, but it is important that we keep on top of any outbreaks.

What we do:

We apply enough weed control to take care of any new problems areas.

This will leave your lawn in excellent condition when the grass growing season is over.

How our Winter Lawn Care works

During this period, your grass will slow down or even completely stop growing.

Leaves can present a problem in terms of promoting the chance of moss growing and inhibiting grass growth as the growing season starts. Our garden maintenance works can help out here.

Some garden mulch is good for your lawn. However, our treatments ensure that your lawn receives everything that it needs during this period.
